TBCH Definition and Purpose
- The Thunder Bay Christian Homeschoolers (TBCH) is a Christian homeschool network. It shall base its policies and actions on Christian principles and shall take the Bible as its moral and spiritual guide. Those in leadership must be believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
- TBCH shall function as a network in Thunder Bay and surrounding areas that will link together individual homeschooling families and home education support groups whose members are home educators. It will endeavour to provide information, encouragement, ideas and connection for all members.
Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
- We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe our Lord Jesus is God and the only Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit to Mary while she was a virgin. He died on the cross and rose again on the third day and ascended to heaven. He will return to earth someday.
- We believe the shedding of His blood was the payment for our sins.
